We're reducing prices!

1.1.2024
Dear customers, we have optimized our production processes and input costs, which is why we were able to reduce the final prices compared to the 2023 price list by up to 20%! If you are our partner (installation company, wholesaler), you will find the new prices after logging into your account. On the My account page, click on the link Your current price list. If you are not our partner, the final prices listed in the Direct purchase section apply to you.

End of rationing system

1.9.2023
Dear customers, due to the availability of parts for production, we are stopping the rationing system for all products supplied by us from September 1, 2023. All products are now in sufficient quantities in stock.

Rationing system

8.1.2023
Dear customers, due to the high demand, we are introducing a rationing system for our most ordered products from 9 January 2023. For more information about this method of purchase, see here. New registrations are temporarily suspended until January 16, 2023 to allow priority purchase for our long-term business partners.

Design change

22.8.2022
Dear customers, due to better availability, from 22/08/2022 we deliver all our controllers in slightly different installation boxes, which are functionally completely identical to the original ones, only they are slightly different in design - they do not have the bottom sharp edge. The size of the controller, i.e. the number of modules and other parameters, does not change. The absence of the bottom sharp edge also objectively facilitates the installation of the controller in the switchboard.

End of cooperation with Russia

25.2.2022
Today we ended our cooperation with Russia. No orders from this country are possible and no technical support will be provided. Also, Russian language will be removed from all our future software updates.

SpotProcessor

This is an additional device to the WATTrouter M/Mx built on the Raspberry Pi® platform, which will be used in the spot price electricity tariff. The device downloads spot electricity prices from a corresponding portal and further:

  • Either communicates the current price of electricity to the WATTrouter, which then blocks or forces the switching of the outputs based on price limits that can be set in the WATTrouter time schedules.
  • Or it blocks or forces the switching of WATTrouter outputs based on price limits that can be set directly in SpotProcessor.

This device can be used for WATTrouter ECO as well, but only to extend USB connection over LAN through the built in WR BRIDGE service. Spot prices cannot be communicated to WATTrouter ECO by any means.

The device has been developed by ENcontrol s.r.o. in cooperation with our company.

Product code of manufacturer ENcontrol: CJ-SPR3A-WIFI.

Parameters and Properties

  • Raspberry Pi® platform, WIFI, 5VDC power supply.
  • Automatic loading of electricity prices from the corresponding portal.
  • Automatic loading of gas prices from the corresponding portal.
  • Communication with WATTrouter M/Mx via MODBUS TCP protocol.
  • Directly send current spot price to WATTrouter Mx.
  • Set the upper price limit to block WATTrouter M/Mx outputs.
  • Set the lower price limit to force WATTrouter M/Mx outputs.
  • Advanced configuration options through the built-in macro language.
  • WR BRIDGE service for extending USB over LAN, suitable for remote connection to Wattrouter ECO.
  • Firmware update.

Principle of communication with WATTrouters

The device works on the principle of downloading electricity spot prices from the corresponding portal and subsequently switching or limiting the outputs of the WATTrouter. The principle of operation is as follows:

  • If the price of electricity is too high, the device will limit the switching of selected WATTrouter outputs.
  • If the price of electricity is too low, the device will force the selected WATTrouter outputs to switch on.
  • If these price conditions are not met, the WATTrouter operates in standalone mode as usual.

An example can be a boiler connected to a WATTrouter. It is normally heated during the day only from PV surpluses and at night possibly from a low tariff (time plan or CombiWATT mode). However, if the price of electricity is very low during the day, it may be appropriate to switch on the heating fully, regardless of the amount of excess from the PV plant. For this, the SpotProcessor is used, which starts the heating. In the evening, when the price of electricity is too high and at the same time the heating of the boiler is running via the time schedule or the CombiWATT mode, it may be appropriate to disable this heating. For this, SpotProcessor is used, which disables heating.
